This is because of our low rates which are up to 12% less than other agencies, and because we pass any extra discounts that we receive on to you.  We offer our customers free design time for both newspaper display ads and magazines ads. Our newspaper customers also get their magazine ads billed to them at the listed or negotiated rates from the magazines and are never charged more for commission.

Our History

Daniel and Lisa Beyer had a vision of Mustang Media in 2000. The idea came to them that there “had to be a better way” of taking care of transportation people. Lisa’s husband Douglas had already been in the industry over 18 years, Lisa 12 years, and not much had changed. Named after Lisa’s favorite sports car, the dream became reality in January 01, 2001. We had an idea to deliver affordable pricing, reliable service, and guaranteed rates to our friends and associates in Human Resources, Safety, & Recruiting all over the United States, specializing in transportation.

We began with $25,000 borrowed from Daniel’s nest egg, one employee; Doug, several credit cards borrowed from Lisa, three customers, many years of experience in transportation, and a prayer. At the end of 2001 we exceeded our service and revenue goals. As of March 2007, Mustang Media still services the same three customers that had faith in us in 2001. We are well on our way to shape the advertising industry by focusing on service, budgets, and consistency.

Doug Beyer took over ownership and management from his wife Lisa in January 2003. His brother Dan still owns 1/3 of the business. Doug started DRIVERJOBS4U.COM in 2003. This website was designed by his customers to assist with finding qualified drivers in accessible hiring areas. As our business and employees were growing, so was the need for space. Mustang Media purchased property 6 miles west of the office in Des Moines, in small growing community called Waukee. Within months, Mustang Media staff and equipment was transferring to our new building in the West. Doug launched Mustang Concepts in 2005. This company was created to assist Mustang Media customers with quick access to promotions and printing supplies that businesses use everyday. In 2006, Doug purchased a warehouse north of our office to accommodate our massive printing equipment. The location would guarantee immediate delivery of such printing and promotions to our customers locally and nationally. In January 2007, Mustang Media was honored with Waukee Business of the Year Award due to employee hours volunteered to the city and chamber, services offered, artwork, products, and our unlimited availability; 24/7! In May 2007 our R.E.C.R.U.I.T.A.R. phone call tracking program will be up and running to offer even more valuable services.

Doug, Dan, Lisa & staff still have many more dreams and goals for Mustang Media. We will continue to deliver the promise of Affordable Reliability.
